Lawrenceville Prep Class April 15, 2017 The First Tee class at Lawrenceville Prep is a wonderful way for young players to meet high school mentors who are experienced golfers, many of whom have gone through the First Tee themselves. The class runs every Sunday from 3:00-4:45 pm at the Lawrenceville School golf course. A typical session will include skill-targeted practice, on course training, followed by snack time, with one core value and healthy habit woven throughout each class. Each participant receives individual attention from the high school mentor they are paired with, as well as numerous First Tee instructors and volunteers. The class has a profound impact on all who join, as multiple participants in the class have become Lawrenceville students themselves. Another unique aspect of the Lawrenceville Prep class is that the high school mentors hail from around the world, coming from California, to Colombia and Thailand! The class is an excellent opportunity for kids to learn valuable life skills, improve their golf game, play on the golf course of a prestigious high school, meet people from around the world, and gain lasting friendships with peers and mentors.
